Harrison Ford revealed his favorite Ryan Gosling movies
It should come as no surprise that the actor has a pretty wide fan base. Before working together in the upcoming film Blade Runner 2049, Harrison Ford caught a few Ryan Gosling movies and was just as impressed as we are. While we kinda-sorta love the visual of Ford with a big box of tissues crying along to The Notebook, that one sadly didn’t make the list of his ultimate favorites — and both Ford and his costar made sure to make that clear to Lauren Zima from Entertainment Tonight.
"I'm gonna take a wild stab in the dark and say it wasn’t," Gosling piped in after Ford was asked. "It wasn't The Notebook."
Ford actually namedropped two films, and as expected, they’re excellent. (Although to be fair, it’s tough to find a Gosling flick that isn’t.)
"Everything I've seen him do was a challenge well met," Ford gushed. "It was more than I thought you could possibly do...I mean, the discipline to learn all the dancing, the singing and the keyboard [in La La Land]…but also [films like] The Place Beyond the Pines. I've been watching him for years and I really admire what he's done."
It seems like the love is mutual, since Gosling wasn’t shy to admit he’s loved Ford’s work in the Indiana Jones series.
"He's been creating all these seminal movie experiences for all of us. He's the one person who hasn't got to experience that, because he's been too busy making them," Gosling said.
We can’t wait to see these two share the screen together. Blade Runner 2049 will be in theaters on October 6th.
