What a week so far, huh? I’d like to take a moment to step aside from the rest of the news to celebrate this special day in the LGBTQ+ community.

Happy National Coming Out Day!

It can be so hard to love yourself or to show who you are to the rest of the world. Whether you’re already out, or still quietly figuring things out for yourself, know that you have all the time you need, and there is a whole community ready to accept you for exactly who you are and who you love.

I am so grateful for my strong and brave friends in the LGBTQ+ community, and for all the bold joy, love, and empathy they bring into the world.

I guess you could say — it’s ~out of this world~.
