These are officially the happiest places to work this year

Jobs seem to fall on a bell curve. Some are exceedingly horrible, most are okay, and a select few are amazing. For the companies that fall in that last group, there is plenty of recognition to be had, like landing on Forbes’ coveted list of the 25 Happiest Companies to Work For In 2015.

While most people would think that tech companies like Facebook and Apple would dominate the list, many of the best companies to work for are some of the oldest companies in the U.S., including Chrysler (#25), Intel (#17), and Texas Instruments (#4). According to CareerBliss, the company that helped Forbes put together this list, they didn’t just look at perks like free lunch and on-site fitness centers, but at “work-life balance, an employee’s relationship with his or her boss and co-workers, office environment, job resources, compensation, opportunities for professional development, and company culture.”
