Hannah Simone’s checkered wrap-dress is giving us “I Love Lucy” vibes
Last night, Hannah Simone wore a checkered knee-length dress at the Fox Winter TCA 2017 All-Star Party in Pasadena.
The Television Critics Association consists of over 200 television journalists. Each year, they launch a tour of parties hosted by different networks to announce news in upcoming programing.
For the party, Simone’s look was the perfect mix between conservative and flirty, retro and modern, just like her character in Miss India America.
The New Girl actress complimented the dress with a perfect red lip, simple black eyeliner, and a rosy complexion.
With this look, Simone could have walked straight from filming an episode of New Girl, to the party, and on to a cameo in I Love Lucy.
Like a super-modern millennial version of I Love Lucy.

Fox announced that Simone will host a 2017 comedic competition series called Kicking & Screaming. Featuring teams of expert survivalists partnered with pampered partners who will face the toughest challenges of their lives, it’ll debut on Fox on Thursday, March 9 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT). The series drops these odd-couple duos into a tropical jungle in Fiji, where they must overcome dangerous animals, raging rivers, hunger and extreme weather.
Actually, the job sounds like it could totally be Cece Parekh’s next gig! (That’s Simone’s character on New Girl, who also happens to be a model/actress.) OMG. Hannah is Cece. Cece is Hannah. The merging of art and life! (Just go with us on this.)
