So we’ve seen the trailer for Fifty Shades Darker, and that featured a pretty sultry cover of “Crazy in Love” by Miguel. Then after hearing that Taylor Swift and Zayn Malik did a duet for the movie, our interest skyrocketed even further into the stratosphere. And now…

Wait for it…Halsey’s new song for the Fifty Shades Darker soundtrack has dropped on Spotify!

Oh yes it has. It’s called “Not Afraid Anymore,” and right from the get-go it captures the sultry mood and conflicted nature of Anastasia’s character. So clearly it’s gearing up to be an incredibly epic soundtrack, because apart from Halsey, Zayn Malik, and Taylor Swift, there will also be tracks from Sia, Nick Jonas and Nicki Minaj, John Legend and more!

We’re so freaking happy that Halsey’s amazing song debuted, because she’s had a tough start to the new year. She had to undergo multiple surgeries for endometriosis, so this girl deserves some good news.

Although Halsey did appear on Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list…so 2017 is looking up. Phew, we can’t wait for more music from Halsey, and we wish her a speedy recovery. Aaaaaaand we absolutely cannot wait to see Fifty Shades Darker. Obvi.February, come quick!
