Halsey debuted platinum blonde curls, is officially Marilyn Monroe’s doppelgänger

There’s nothing we love more than a lady who isn’t afraid to change up her look, so we’re 100% here for Halsey’s new short blonde pixie cut, which she debuted on Instagram over the weekend as she celebrated the start of the new year.

Though she changes up her look all the time, we think Halsey’s new blonde hair is the perfect way to ring in 2018 while also paying homage to our favorite old Hollywood starlet, because she looks so much like a modern-day Marilyn Monroe. Seriously, guys. It’s kind of mind-blowing.

As of a few weeks ago, Halsey was rocking long, dark brunette braids, so this is definitely a dramatic change. The singer posted several Instagram shots of her new look, and we’re especially loving her New Year’s Eve party vibes with boyfriend G-Eazy.

Posing in a super slinky (and amazingly sparkly!) black cut-out dress, Halsey looked like a Kirakira+ dream. Her flawless red lip completed the look.

She then posed for a shot with G-Eazy before the couple took to the stage to perform at Diddy’s star-studded New Year’s Eve party in Miami. We’re officially considering this look for ourselves, guys.

It also looks like Halsey enjoyed her holiday weekend, posting photos and videos to Instagram for us to enjoy/obsess over.

Only time will tell how long Halsey keeps her current Marilyn vibes. After all, she’s rocked every shade of the rainbow, from ocean blue to hot pink and purple, too. But this just might be our all-time fave.
