Halsey had a badass response to a fan who said she can’t be a feminist because she posed for “Playboy”

Halsey recently covered Playboy, absolutely slaying in a hot pink leotard. Unfortunately, when a celebrity does anything, it’s immediately up for scrutiny by the comments section.

Halsey posted a photo of her Playboy and Flaunt covers, clearly proud of her double cover achievements. Sadly, some troll came for her. But if said troll hadn’t scrutinized her image, we wouldn’t have been blessed with Halsey’s brilliant retort.

Someone wrote, “You are a feminist but you flash your boobs in Playboy magazine.”

With the caption, “Just so we are fucking clear,” she wrote,

AND THAT IS HOW YOU SHUT IT DOWN.

We always scratch our heads at the “how can you be a feminist but show your boobs” argument. A feminist is someone who believes that all people deserve equal rights. That’s it. A feminist is not a person who is anti-men or anti-boob. We’re not sure why a woman making the choice to pose naked has anything to do with it? In fact, feminism allows women to have that choice to pose naked or not at all!
