Wonder Woman has always been on my top five role model list, just right under my mom and Pat Benatar. She’s fearless, strong, kind, smart — and I’ve always wanted to be her. I couldn’t control my excitement when I found out there was finally going to be a movie, and I was pretty much hyperventilating when Wonder Woman’s official trailer dropped. Because she embodies strength and beauty (at least to me), I couldn’t help but notice the four different hairstyles she rocks in the trailer while also kicking butt. The best part? They’re easy, everyday looks that we can all sport. Basically, we can all look and feel like Wonder Woman in real life.

If you haven’t already, peep the epic trailer (and Gal Gadot’s WW hair looks).

Hairstyle 1: Wonder Woman’s classic wavy hair

Warner Bros. Pictures / www.youtube.com

This is probably Wonder Woman’s most iconic hairstyle. Basically, wavy hair + tiara = superhero. Who doesn’t want to look like a goddess while fighting crime? I know I do!

Here’s what you’ll need for the first look.

Brush
1-inch straightener (I’m using an old Chi straightener)
Hair clip
Texture spray (I’m using Garnier’s Texture Tease Dry Touch Finishing Spray)
Kuku Oil (I’m using the OGX spray)

Step 1: Brush out your tangles.

Author / Hello Giggles

Don’t worry about your hair being full of volume! This will help make your waves look full and luscious.

Step 2: Part your hair.

Author / Hello Giggles

Because Wonder Woman’s waves are full and kinda messy, it’s better to part your hair into larger layers. Instead of sectioning off smaller portions, try doing only three parts —  bottom, middle, and end. Your parts don’t have to be perfect either!

Step 3: Curl and repeat.

Author / Hello Giggles

Just like your parts, curl your hair in bigger sections. Instead of grabbing a small amount, try going for chunks that are about the length of your index finger. I usually will curl my hair towards my body on the left side, and I’ll curl away on the right side. This gives the illusion that you have more volume because of the different directions. Trust me, it works! You’ll keep repeating this process until you’re done curling your hair.

Step 4: Add texture spray for volume and hold.

Author / Hello Giggles

We didn’t do this hard work just so our hair could fall apart in a few hours! I love giving my locks some hold and volume by adding texture spray.

Step 5: Run your hands through your hair for loose waves.

Author / Hello Giggles

This part is totally optional. Running your fingers through your hair gives it a little more volume and it makes it look more effortless. I love that Wonder Woman’s waves are loose and relaxed (because, duh, she’s been kicking so much butt)!

Step 6: Add some shine to your hairstyle.

Author / Hello Giggles

Not going to lie, Wonder Woman’s hair is shiny and sleek! Argan oil or Kuku oil gives your locks so much shine without making your it look greasy!

Step 7: Go on with your bad self!

I’m cheesy, I know.

Hairstyle 2: Wonder Woman’s simple, yet sleek high ponytail

Warner Bros. Pictures / www.youtube.com

If you’re feeling a chic and sophisticated hairstyle, Wonder Woman rocks a high pony like no one else. This is the fastest tutorial I’ve ever done because it’s so simple! And it totally makes sense that Wonder Woman wears this look — she doesn’t have time to be curling her mane!

On the plus side: You’re already halfway done with the second tutorial if you followed the wavy hair steps. If you don’t feel like curling all of your locks, then I have you covered!

Here’s what you’ll need for the second look.

Brush
Ponytail holder
1-inch straightener (I’m using an old Chi straightener)

Step 1: Brush your hair back and create a ponytail.

Author / Hello Giggles

Once you’ve brushed your hair, pick it up in a ponytail. I think the higher the ponytail, the more chic it looks. However, it’s totally up to you!

Step 2: Curl your hair (if you haven’t already).

Author / Hello Giggles

I definitely still have my mane curled from the first tutorial, but in case you don’t, I got you. The easiest way to get those luscious waves is to curl them in sections. For bigger waves, grab bigger sections.

Step 3: You’re all done!

Look how chic this hairstyle looks and it only took 10 minutes. SCORE!

Hairstyle 3: Wonder Woman’s messy and chic side bun

Warner Bros. Pictures / www.youtube.com

Even though Wonder Woman wears this hairstyle with an elegant hat, you can totally rock this look without trilby styled accessory.

Here’s what you’ll need for the third look.

Brush
Small elastic bands
Bobby pins

Step 1: Brush your hair to the side and create a side ponytail.

Author / Hello Giggles

Brush your hair through to get out all of your tangles and put it in a low side ponytail. I decided to do an off center part, but you can part your hair however you desire!

Step 2: Tease your hair.

Author / Hello Giggles

Tease your hair, girl! This will give you extra volume and it will make your messy bun look full and chic.

Step 3: Separate your hair in three parts.

Author / Hello Giggles

After teasing your hair, part it into big three sections that way your bun looks full. It will give the illusion that you have more hair. YASS!

Step 4: Wrap your hair around your elastic band.

Author / Hello Giggles

This is where things get fun (and tricky). Grab the section closest to your shoulder and wrap it around your elastic band. The messier you do it, the better. Once you’ve wrapped it around fully, either tie it with another small elastic band or grab your bobby pins to keep it in place. Repeat until all of your hair is wrapped around.

Step 5: All done!

Now, top this look with a stylish hat like Wonder Woman or rock the hairstyle without an accessory!

Hairstyle 4: Wonder Woman’s “I mean business” braid

Warner Bros. Pictures / www.youtube.com

This is probably my favorite hairstyle that Wonder Woman wears in the trailer. It has girl boss written all over it! You know she’s not messing around when her hair is tied back because she’s ready to fight and she doesn’t need stupid strands flying in her eyes.

Here’s what you’ll need for the last look.

Author / Hello Giggles

Brush
Small elastic bands
Bobby pins

Step 1: Brush your hair.

Author / Hello Giggles

I found that this hairstyle is easy to achieve when your hair is wet. So once you pop out of the shower, brush out your tangles and brush your hair back.

Step 2: Half ponytail.

Author / Hello Giggles

Grab your hair and part it as if you’re going to create a half ponytail. You don’t need to worry about the part being perfect because we aren’t picking it up.

Step 3: Half ponytail.

Author / Hello Giggles

After parting your hair, you’ll want to twist it very tight and pin it. Once you’ve pinned it in place, grab an elastic band and tie it (that way it doesn’t move). Make sure to keep this a little off center that way our braid flows to our side like Wonder Woman’s.

Step 4: French braid.

Author / Hello Giggles

So I have thick hair, and clearly you can see my 10 million bobby pins! Sorry! On another note: once you’ve tied the section you twisted, grab those strands and break them into three parts. Hold the right section in your right hand, the left section in your left hand, and grab the middle section between your thumb. Start your braid by crossing the right section over the middle section and then repeat with the left section. You keep this process going until you’ve braided your entire hair.

Step 5: Almost done.

Author / Hello Giggles

The back of your hair should look like this after you’ve braided it.

Step 6: You’re ready to kick some butt!

Author / Hello Giggles

I pushed some strands up on the top of my hair to create a small pompadour because I noticed Wonder Woman’s hair is full on top.
