Manic Panic /

Alternative hair color originator Manic Panic’s new campaign is making it super easy to support animals, and we are all about it.

Manic Panic, launched in 1977, was the first to bring rainbow hair options to the masses. NYC sisters Tish and Snooky became a part of counterculture history with their wild and colorful style, and the company’s still going strong!

The OG punk hair dye brand wants to better the lives of the millions of animals who are tortured and abused worldwide every day. Manic Panic wants you to get involved with their fight against animal abuse. All you need is a hashtag, a pet pic, and some hair dye. (Actually, it looks like the dye might be optional.)

Post a pic with your pupperino to donate a dollar. (Like you needed an excuse for a pet selfie.)

To participate, post a pic on Instagram tagging @manicpanicnyc, #ManicPanicPets, and #ManicPanicHairColor. For each post, the company will donate $1 to Pets Alive, a no-kill animal rescue. Isn’t that amazing?

Your cat loves you no matter what your hair color is.

About that Pug Life.

Pets Alive’s mission is improving the lives of companion animals through rescue, adoption, advocacy, and education. If you love your kitty or your doggo, you’ll surely want to participate in this campaign.

When your BFF is to dye for.

It’s always a beautiful day when dogs are involved.

This gent’s fabulous facial hair and handsome rescue dog are down fur the cause.

The #ManicPanicPets campaign runs now through April 7th. Get to posting, and help this super cool and worthy cause. (#meow #woof #love.)
