Hailey Baldwin wore an ’80s-style neon power suit — with a twist

Whoa, whoa whoa. Hold the phone. Hailey Baldwin wore an ’80s-style neon power suit at London Fashion Week — and now everyone is talking.

On day three of the fashion frenzy that is LFW, the model stepped out in what may be her best look yet. In an electric yellow blazer and matching shorts, Baldwin’s expertly styled outfit put the power back in power suit.

Underneath her jacket, Baldwin kept it simple with a tan corset, which coordinated well with her champagne-colored ankle boots. Then, to add to the ‘80s vibe of her ensemble, Baldwin accessorized her look with chunky gold hoop earrings and wayfarer-style sunglasses, which were popular during that era. For her hair, we love that Baldwin decided to keep things simple with a sleek topknot so as to not detract from the overall effect of her bright and bold pantsuit.

While we weren’t surprised with Baldwin’s stylish choice of clothing (since she always looks fierce), we were taken aback by this fun twist on the traditional pantsuit. Instead of rocking pants with her blazer, she went with knee-length shorts, the perfect summer-to-fall transition piece.

This isn’t the first time Baldwin’s been spotted rocking throwback attire. Back in May, she arrived in Cannes wearing a plaid blazer-style dress with exaggerated shoulder pads. Seems like this young starlet had an inkling about this season’s hottest trend, since so many have said shoulder pads. And, with that, we’re following Baldwin’s lead this season by wearing bright neons in an effort to make summer last a bit longer.
