Hailee Steinfeld just let us in on a little Taylor Swift squad secret
By now, we’ve all heard of Taylor Swift’s #girlsquad. Whether we love it or are totally jealous—in a totally healthy way, of course—it’s everywhere. ICYMI, some of the members include Blake Lively, Cara Delevingne, Ruby Rose and Selena Gomez. And, of course, Hailee Steinfeld. NBD, right?

But, Steinfeld just revealed that #girlsquad may not be what it appears to be.
In September’s issue of Seventeen, she said that the squad’s not together 24/7 as Instagram may lead us to believe. “I think people think we spend a lot more time together than we actually do!” Steinfeld said.
Yep, think about it — how hard is it to coordinate with your own squad? And if you add being a celebrity — and actor, musician, and/or model — to the mix, meeting up may be even more challenging. Amirite?!
ICYMI, we’re big fans of Steinfeld’s regardless, #girlsquad or not.
She’s not only super talented:
But Hailee also does charitable things:
And, we can all probably relate to her character in the upcoming film The Edge of Seventeen.
“This girl goes through experiences I totally went through, where it felt like it was the absolute end of the world,” Steinfeld said. “Just having so many moments where you question who you are and what it is that you’re good at and what you feel good in.”
IRL, Steinfeld does feel good doing music. “I want to make the best first album I can possibly make,” she said. “And I want to get to a level where I can headline my own arena tour. I know that I can make it happen. It’s just the beginning. I see the future being really big.”
Okay, but don’t forget to check in with Tay once in a while, Hailee!
