Hailee Steinfeld and Shawn Mendes are making us feel all the feels with this “Stitches” duet

If you saw Hailee Steinfeld in Pitch Perfect 2 and thought “This girl is going places,” then you’d be 100% correct. The 18-year-old went on to star in Taylor Swift’s epic Bad Blood video and now is launching her own singing career, but not before singing an awesome duet with Shawn Mendes, coverings his song “Stitches.” Take a look:

It’s one of our favorite songs, but made acoustic with the added benefit of Hailee’s haunting voice, which we fell in love with when she sang “Flashlights” in Pitch Perfect 2.

While it may seem like Hailee’s only just bursting onto the scene, she’s been an awesome actress for some time, getting nominated for an Oscar for her role in True Grit in 2010. You may have also seen her in Romeo & Juliet and Begin Again. She’s also set to star in The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight, coming out later in 2016. It makes sense that she played “The Trinity” in the Bad Blood music video, because you’d think you’d need about three of her to do everything she’s doing! But she’s so awesome that she’s doing it all herself, and flawlessly. I’m out of breath just typing all of her accomplishments.

For now, we can just kick back and listen to her voice, both in this clip, and in the snippet of her album that she released over the weekend. We got to hear a bit of “Love Myself,” the music video for which will be dropping on August 7. So much excitement all happening at once! You go, Hailee! *catches breath*
