Hailee Steinfeld just did an interpretive dance to “Bad Blood” that will make your day
Hailee Steinfeld’s got some moves. We noticed them in the music video for her awesome self-confidence anthem, “Love Myself,” but the 18-year-old recently busted some of her best choreography on an episode of iHeartRadio’s YouTube show, “60 Second Challenge.” If you recall, this is the same show where Selena Gomez got dared to do an impression of her bestie, Taylor Swift, and totally nailed it.
Each episode, celebrities have to pick dares out of a box and complete as many as they can in a minute – pretty crazy. Right out of the gate, Hailee had to reveal a hidden talent and sing her own rendition of The Weekend’s “I Can’t Feel My Face.” Of course, she stepped up and totally killed it – her voice is gorgeous!
Hailee only let herself be stumped for a moment when she picked out a particularly clever suggestion: “Do your best interpretive dance or hand motion version of Taylor Swift’s ‘Bad Blood.’” First of all, props to whoever came up with that dare – interpretive dance is always a good idea. Second, snaps to Hailee, who summoned the power of her “Bad Blood” character Trinity and broke out into these three perfect dance steps …
The “Bad Blood” Ballerina …
The T-Swift Curtsy …
And the “Sup?” — classic interpretive dance move.
With only a few seconds left in her “60 Second Challenge,” Hailee then got dared to sing whatever song was in her head. Naturally, she broke out into “Bad Blood,” because once you interpretive dance to a song, it’s bound to stay with you for a while.
It’s always inspiring to see a super star like Hailee be silly on camera. Celebrities, they’re just like us! (As in, they too spin and do funky dance moves to “Bad Blood,” a.k.a. what I do every night before I go to bed.) Check out the full video here.
