Gwyneth Paltrow’s powder blue power suit is *so* full of 2017 trends, and we’re copying this look pronto

Taking a casual stroll through Los Angeles this week, Gwyneth Paltrow wore a powder blue suit that screamed not only confidence and style, but also these 2017 trends are here to stay!

Wearing a matching Gucci mini-skirt and military-style jacket, paired with simple but very chic black ankle boots, Paltrow rocked at least four of the year’s top trends: skirt suits (hi, Beyoncé and Kate Middleton); pastel colors (we see you, Elle Fanning); ruffles (werrrk, Zendaya); and an undeniable, overall ’80s vibe (you owned this look, Mandy Moore).

Even if you’re not a big ~trends~ person, you have to admit that Goop’s embrace of the power suit gets your fired up in a badass boss lady sort of way.

So fierce, right?

Paltrow has been in the news lately for an interesting ~mix~ of reasons. She made headlines Tuesday when she shared a sweet photo of her ex-husband, Chris Martin, and their son, Moses, captioning it #believeinlove.

But, just a day earlier, she came under fire after suggesting on the Goop website that women hold jade eggs in their vaginas to “increases chi, orgasms, vaginal muscle tone, hormonal balance, and feminine energy in general.” Doctors were quick to refute her website’s claims. (And yeah, we don’t recommend putting a jade egg inside your body — suffice to say an infection is very possible!)

But back to that suit! The jacket retails for $3,200 and the skirt is $990, so if you want to replicate this look you’d better start saving your pennies.
