We are so ready for Gwen Stefani’s makeup line with Urban Decay
When two beauty icons come together, you can practically hear the explosion—especially when the icons are as incredible as these. Urban Decay, known for its bold colors and its Naked palettes, and Gwen Stefani, known for her awesome music and equally awesome style, are set to release a collaboration in December, and we could not be more excited.
This is the first celebrity collaboration for Urban Decay, whose founder, Wende Zomnir, has wanted to work with Gwen Stefani for some time. Zomnir told Yahoo Beauty:
And we’re so glad that it did. The two reportedly met through a mutual clothing designer friend, and have finally been able to put something together, though the two sides have been silent on what exactly that will entail.
This isn’t Gwen Stefani’s first rodeo. She partnered with O.P.I back in 2013, and the collection was filled with winter blacks, reds and a whole lotta sparkle.
As the coming months get colder, speculation will only grow as we anticipate its winter release. Will the collection draw inspiration from the singer’s current style, or harken back to her time in No Doubt?Perhaps this collab, like O.P.I, will also follow a holiday theme, with looks you can wear while walking down snowy streets, or into your family’s Christmas party. Either way, we’re sure to be in for bold lips and smokey eyes, with a few crazy colors thrown into the mix—no doubt! (See what we did there?)
