That time Aladdin’s magic carpet ride happened in suburbia
By now many of us are (probably) experiencing a little bit of Disney fatigue, and that’s totally understandable. But something kind of amazing and kind of Disney-related just happened and we feel compelled to share it.
Kevin Gordon, an Australian rugby player, artist, and DJ combined his natural inclinations to present the world with a 21st century version of Aladdin’s magic carpet ride. Going for a very minimalist, magical realism meets suburbia setting, Kevin uses a carpet and skateboard to carry out his Disney vision. And the effects, while not exactly magical, are incredibly funny and inventive. Kevin gets an A+ for effort and creativity.
