If you’ve ever worked in retail then you’ll know it can be fun, scary, weird, wonderful, and confusing. Sometimes it’s an amazing experience and you get to meet a myriad of different types of people from all walks of life. Similarly, it can be quite hard work; there are often long hours and you often have to deal with rude people.
It’s always interesting to get an insight into people’s experiences though, isn’t it? And one Tumblr user, kimpossibooty, has shared his retail experience and it’s actually brilliant.
Taking to Tumblr to detail his first week working at Target, kimpossibooty gave a blow-by-blow of his experience and it’s both sweet and hilarious.

His experiences vary from giving stickers to delighted kids, something he describes as “the best part of my job,” to bizarre (“Got approached by a large man named Jason. He told me not to steal. I will take this advice to heart.”), and he made some great observations, like this, “Had a very engaging conversation with a three year old boy about colors. We both like blue.”
