This 30 second clip about soup is actually the best “Guardians of the Galaxy” trailer to date

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is shaping up to be one of the funniest Marvel Cinematic Universe films yet. At least, judging by the teasers that have been released. And the most recent clip is no exception. This Guardians of the Galaxy clip featuring Drax eating soup is the best one yet.

There will be a brand new trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 released tomorrow and to announce it, the Marvel Studios team released a hilarious teaser clip which gives very little real information, but is just plain funny. The scene features the Guardians crew sitting around a fire and enjoying some food. Except, Drax is loudly slurping soup — a super annoying habit.

Peter Quill (Chris Pratt) stares him down because Drax doesn’t seem to notice how annoying his loud slurping is to everyone else around him! And soon, the rest of the group is annoyed with him too. Even Rocket the Raccoon seems annoyed by this lack of manners from Drax.

The dynamics of this team so far in what we’ve seen have been pretty perfect. They’ve got great chemistry and comedic timing. We can’t wait for the latest trailer, which will hopefully have more adorable Baby Groot scenes. Until then, we’ll be watching Drax slurp soup and the teaser trailer we’ve already watched 800 times.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 hits theaters May 5th and is likely to be everyone’s new favorite Marvel Cinematic Universe film if we had to make bets! Guess we’ll find out in a few months. Until then, gonna go find some soup to enjoy.
