This “Great British Bake Off” winner’s most awkward fan experience was during a pap smear and we are horrified

Nadiya Hussein, winner of the sixth series of The Great British Bake Off, had the most awkward fan encounter.

On the Graham Norton Show, Nadiya explained that she’s beginning to get recognized almost everywhere in the UK, including at the gynecologist’s office, by the gynecologist.

"It's not a bad thing and generally people are so nice, but sometimes there are some not such nice moments — I recently went for my smear test and I was thinking, 'I want to get this over with so please, please don't recognize me.'"

SERIOUSLY!!!

We would die if a new gyno recognized us on the table.

Hussain says that she was recognized while she was “speculate,” which we’re thinking is a British way of saying, “horizontal and stirrupped, ready for the speculum.”

Basically, in the very worst position for any kind of conversation, but especially for fan’s questions such as, “Is Paul Hollywood really that good looking?”

Yes, that’s what her gyno asked her.

ICYDK, Paul Hollywood is one of the judges on the show.

Comedian Sandi Toksvig quips, “That’s a way to get you to relax.”

Graham Norton adds, “I wonder what made her think of him,” and Toksvig answers, “the beard.” ?

Oh, those coy Brits.

Hussain was commissioned to produce a cake for the Queen’s 90th birthday celebration in June.

We wonder if Hussain told the queen this little anecdote that day.

We hope we never have to experience anything like this, but we sure do appreciate Nadiya Hussain’s story!
