Good American created a size for those who are between straight and plus
Shopping for denim is difficult; that’s just a fact. You could find the perfect pair of jeans, only to realize that you’re stuck in between sizes. Thankfully, Khloé Kardashian and Emma Grede, the co-founders of Good American, know the struggle is real. That’s why the brand now offers size 15.
Good American did meticulous research in the design process to offer size 15, according to a press release sent to HelloGiggles. “Since Good American’s launch in 2016, the brand has received 50% more returns between 14 and 16, compared to any other size in the 00-24 size range.”
While size 15 isn’t new in the fashion industry, considering this has been a standard in junior sizes, it is refreshing to see a brand offer it for women’s/misses jeans.
"There is an industry-wide discrepancy in sizing patterns between a size 14 and 16 that has created fit issues for many women who fall between these sizes. Size 15 aims to bridge that gap by offering an additional size option for those customers that sit on the cusp of straight sizing and plus sizing."
That’s not all the brand is offering, either. Good American debuted the Good Curve collection, which is described as “the ultimate balancing jean, developed directly from customer feedback.” We stan a company that listens to its consumers. Even better? There’s also additional lining in the waist to help accentuate the mid-section. OKURR.
