This GMA reporter’s proposal in Paris was the sweetest

You know us, we can’t resist a good marriage proposal story. And as “Will you be my love until death do us part?” tales go, this one is about as sweet as they come.

Journalist Gio Benitez, a popular Good Morning America correspondent just got engaged to his boyfriend-now-fiancé Tommy DiDario on Thursday in the City of Love itself, Paris. Gio had photographer Pierre Torset capture him getting down on one knee and doing a picture-perfect proposal right in front of the Eiffel Tower. As badass as the scenery is, what really makes this picture is the look of complete shock/total love on Tommy’s face. Also, Gio is really on top of his Instagram caption game: “Time is what’s left behind in the wake of love.” Someone get us our fainting couches, because we are SWOONING.
