Glow-in-the-dark highlighter is here, just in case you want to start planning for Halloween early

Because fall is right around the corner, we’re thinking about one thing — it’s almost time for Halloween. Now, glow-in-the-dark highlighter is here, reports Allure, just in case you want to start planning your costume early. If you know us at all, you know we ~love~ products that give us an extra special glimmer and shine, from this cosmic glow-in-the-dark dress to this glow-in-the-dark hair trend. So when we heard about glow-in-the-dark highlighter, we were intrigued. Luckily, YouTube beauty vlogger Tati tried it out first.

For her experiment, she use two products, a liquid formula by Art Cosmetics Electric Daisy ($20) and a powder formula by PopLuxe Night Life ($23).

First, Tati starts by trying out a little of the Electric Daisy highlighter.

And you can see the way it has a shimmering effect on her left arm.

If you’re wondering what makes it shiny and glow-in-the-dark worthy, it contains luminescent zinc sulfide — an FDA-approved glow additive. In-te-rest-ing!

Tati also tries out the PopLuxe powder.

Once Tati is all made up in her glow-in-the-dark look, she sees if she glows…but no.

But once she holds a blacklight to her face, watch out!

The light activates the glow properties of the makeup and, in short, it works. It works so well, you can barely see Tati!
