“Glee’s” Matthew Morrison just welcomed a son, and we love his name
Looks like there’s a new addition to William McKinley High School’s glee club. Actor Matthew Morrison welcomed a baby boy with his wife Renee, and his name is completely unique.
Matthew and his wife got married back in 2014 with an intimate ceremony in Hawaii. The two have been together since 2011, and this is their first child. The two made the announcement that they were expecting this past May.
While their son’s birth stats are still a mystery, the pair announced that their baby boy was named Revel James Makai Morrison. But based on the Instagram photos, we’re pretty sure they’ll just be calling him “Revel.”
Renee’s photo showed baby Revel looking straight at the camera, and it includes such a wonderful, loving caption.
"I will respect you and go through every moment with understanding and patience," she wrote. "I promise to love you unconditionally for ever and ever my little angel baby."
Renee wasn’t afraid to post a few photos throughout the pregnancy, including this one of an ultrasound. It seems like the pair referred to Revel as “Lil Mo” before he was born. She also revealed that Matthew cried when first seeing the ultrasound photo, which makes us all kinds of emotional.
The new parents let photographer Isaac Cohen take the professional photos, and it seems like he was an excellent choice.
Aside from his new fatherhood duties, Matthew Morrison has been keeping pretty busy. He appeared on a few episodes of The Good Wife last year, and just wrapped up filming Broadway 4D, which also stars Hugh Jackman and Christina Aguilera.
