6 places to donate to on Giving Tuesday because ’tis the season to spread the love
Let’s be honest: at a certain stage in our lives, the holidays became more about giving than receiving. That’s why we love the idea of donating to these places on Giving Tuesday. The counterpoint to Black Friday and Cyber Monday falls on November 29, and this year especially, it’s a little overwhelming to choose just one deserving cause to support.(Psst – if you’re still in shopping mode, consider buying from these charity-minded retailers.)
While we can’t all make a Britney Spears-sized donation to our favorite causes, every little bit helps. Giving Tuesday is a timely reminder that we can all make a difference in our own communities and beyond. Whether you’re looking to donate time or dollars, do your research to make sure you know how you’ll be helping.
Need some inspiration? Check out one of these six great organizations!

Co-founded by Top Chef co-host (and ultimate girl crush) Padma Lakshmi, the Endometriosis Foundation of America funds research into this insanely painful condition. Considering that one in 10 women in America suffers from endometriosis, Giving Tuesday is an excellent excuse to support the sisterhood – as if you needed one.
