Gisele Bündchen corrected Donald Trump on Twitter last night, and YAS!
Republican candidate Donald Trump may boast that he doesn’t need celebrity supporters like Jay Z and Beyoncé to have a successful campaign, but he seemed to relish at the thought of New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and head coach Bill Belichick endorsing him… at least based on comments he made at a rally in New Hampshire last night, but Brady’s wife Gisele Bündchen seems to have officially (and emphatically!) denied this, and we’re all like, YAS QUEEN.
Trump has repeatedly discussed his relationship with Brady, telling the New Hampshire crowd last night, “Tom Brady, great guy, great friend of mine, great, great champion, unbelievable winner. He called today and he said, ‘Donald, I support you, you’re my friend, and I voted for you.’ … And I said, ‘So Tom. You voted for me, you support me, am I allowed to say it tonight at this massive crowd in New Hampshire?’ He said, ‘If you want to say it, you can say it.’ Okay? Tom, that’s what a champ is all about.”

But based on Bündchen’s latest Instagram comment, it seems that may not be true. A sports writer pointed out that a fan asked Bündchen in the comments, “Gisele I heard you and Tom were backing Trump! Is that true??” with Bündchen responding concisely and emphatically: “NO!”

Of course, both Brady and Bündchen have every right to cast their vote in whichever way they choose, but it certainly seems like the gorgeous pair are not as enthusiastic about Trump as he is about them. Guess that’s why it’s so great he doesn’t need the support of celebrities to win, amirite?
