The first trailer for Netflix’s “Girlboss” is here, so enjoy your daily dose of lady power

What do you get when you combine a (semi) true story, the writer of Pitch Perfect, and the unstoppable magic of Netflix? Well, if you add in Britt Robertson, too, you get Netflix’s latest lady-drive original, Girlboss. We’ve got the first trailer right here, so get ready to feel hella inspired to go out there and carve your own path, too.

Girlboss revolves around Sophia (played byRobertson), a semi-real, semi-fictional version of girlboss herself, Sophia Amoruso, the founder of Nasty Girl. But, we’re meeting Sophia before Nasty Girl, and before she makes a name for herself in the fashion world. Here, we find Sophia browsing through thrift store racks, trying to snag some great deals — great deals she can then turn around and sell on eBay for a much higher price.

Or as she puts it in the trailer, “You know how people flip houses? Well I flip clothes.”

And it’s working for her…until it all comes crashing down. Her dad (played by Breaking Bad’s Dean Norris!!) suggests she moves back home and Sophia is like OH HELL NO. That leaves Sophia to start from scratch, again, firmly declaring, “maybe it’ll work, maybe it won’t, but it’ll be mine.”

You’ve got a few weeks to figure out if you’ve got any hidden vintage treasures in your own closet, and maybe start a mini-empire. Girlboss hits Netflix on April 21st.
