The newest Oreo flavor is making us feel ALL the holiday cheer!

To prepare for the holidays, you may play seasonal music on non-stop loop. Maybe you bookmark countless recipes that remind you of blissful times spent with family and friends during your holiday break or vacation. Oh – and you most likely buy ALL the holiday candles and scented things so that your home smells like all things holly and jolly. But it shouldn’t stop there this year. Because now we have one more seasonal item worthy of holiday spirit:   Gingerbread Oreos.

Before the Pumpkin Spice flavor had a chance to solidify its spot in store aisles, Gingerbread came along to remind us that December is right around the corner. Lucky for Pumpkin Spice, Gingerbread is an exclusive addition that’s only available at the store where you end up buying more than you bargained for: Target.

According to the press release, this new cookie is “spicy-yet-sweet.” It features two golden wafers with gingerbread-flavored créme in the middle. Since we haven’t had a chance to get our hands on these treats, all we can say for now is: “Sounds yummy and holiday-tastic!”

But hey, if these cookies are delicious, then this could make holiday baking much easier. If you’re the one who’s supposed to bring dessert to a party, but you don’t have time, you can trust in the power of the Gingerbread Oreo to delight guests with its nostalgia-packed flavor.

This isn’t the first time Oreo has surprised us with a new, seasonal flavor. During summer, the company debuted S’mores flavored Oreos, as well as Brownie Batter. And there was that time during spring this year Oreo released Cotton Candy-flavored cookies just because. What will they come up with next? We’ll just have to see…
