Attending the Paley Center for Media’s tribute to Hispanic achievements in television in Los Angeles last night, the Jane the Virgin star once again had us cheering on her wardrobe choice: a simple, velvet little black dress from designer Vivian Chan’s forthcoming resort collection.

Paired with a straightened bob and black ankle-strap pumps by Stella Luna, we’ve definitely been taking notes from Gina on how to own a red carpet (should we ever need to).
