Wait, WHAT? A possible ‘Gilmore Girls’ reunion?! Please be true!
Every few months, rumors of a Gilmore Girls reunion/reboot/revival circulate, and visions of coffee cups and monkey lamps dance through our heads. Sometimes, these reunion rumors turn out to be true (hi, ATX Television Festival)! For others, we can only hold our breath and hope for the best.
The latest rumblings of a reunion of sorts come straight from the mouth of Scott Patterson, the man behind the sass that is Luke Danes. On a recent episode of the ‘Gilmore Guys’ podcast, he teased the idea of a possible Gilmore Girls reunion, and our brains all but exploded.
“I will say this, there are talks going on at the moment. I can’t really go into any details, but there is some activity,” he said. “I’m hopeful, and I’m in. I think it would be a big event, and I think it would be a great fan celebration.”
Will it be a reunion? A movie? A season seven redo? I guess knowing that “talks” are “going on” will have to be enough for now. Maybe Patterson is holding off for a huge announcement at the ATX Television Festival—where cast and crew will actually reunite for a June 6th panel discussion? We can only hope!
