This mini Gilmore Girls reunion will make you scream “in omnia paratus!”

The Life and Death Brigade is back together again. Australian actor Tanc Sade recently made a guest appearance on Fox’s The Resident—reuniting him with an old onscreen BFF. Sade appeared on the Monday, October 15th episode of the medical drama series as a hospital patient named Josh, a “professional adventure guide,” and his appearance marked a mini Gilmore Girls reunion with actor Matt Czuchry, who plays the show’s star, Dr. Conrad Hawkins.

Czuchry is best known for his role as Logan Huntzberger on Gilmore Girls. He starred opposite Alexis Bledel as Rory’s college boyfriend from a wealthy, old-money family. And many will recall that Sade played the lovable Finn on the mother-daughter dramedy—a friend of Logan’s and fellow member of the Life and Death Brigade, a fictional secret society at Yale University. The duo also made appearances in the Netflix revival of the series, Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life.

Last month, Sade took to Instagram to share a set photo with Czuchry while they were filming the episode. He captioned the picture, “The boys are back. On location for #theresident in #Atlanta with my old mate #mattczuchry from the good ole’ #gilmoregirl days.”

This cameo is transporting us back to the Ivy League halls of Yale.

In an interview with BuzzFeed, Sade said working with Czuchry felt like “old times.”

“We have such a strong bond. We can go months without talking but then it’s like nothing had passed…Matt, the Life and Death Brigade, and Gilmore Girls in general has such a loyal following, and we knew this reunion was something fun for everyone to look forward to.

As if the reunion weren’t enough, producers also dropped a Gilmore Girls Easter egg in the episode. Sade’s character Josh dons a sweater in a photo with “LDB” on it—a nod to the Life and Death Brigade. Our hearts. In omnia paratus!
