“Gilmore Girls'” Milo Ventimiglia currently feels like a bride for the cutest reason

It’s an exciting time to be Milo Ventimiglia, and the Gilmore Girls actor definitely knows it. Not only is he set to reprise his role as Jess Mariano on the Netflix series Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life this month, he also recently returned to the small screen as the star of NBC’s new drama, This Is Us.

In an interview with People, the 39-year-old actor revealed that those two huge opportunities have made this year pretty darn wonderful, saying he feels like 2016 has been as special as a “wedding year” (which, as any married couple can attest, is about as special as it gets).

"It’s an exciting time. To be able to have something new and something old, I kind of feel like a bride. Something new, something old, something borrowed, something blue, something blue, something, was it, blue? Yeah, borrowed, blue, new and old. I guess I feel like a bride. I’m having my wedding year."

How cute is that?

While Ventimiglia (who is not married) knows that everyone on #TeamJess is rooting for him and Rory to get back together on the Netflix reboot of GG, he says he’s OK with that because the fans really are the best authority on Rory’s love life.

When asked who he thinks Rory should end up with, he told Us Weekly, “Oh, God. I don’t know. I kind of love [Luke actor] Scott Patterson’s reaction to it at the Gilmore panel [at the ATX Television Festival in Austin] last year, where he said, ‘None of them.’ The fans are a better authority about who Rory should possibly be with or could be with.”

We’re not sure that none of them is the right answer, but we know we’re definitely dying to find out more about Rory’s love (and work! and family!) life from the revival. November 25th — can’t you get here a little faster?!
