There is a bar serving 12 “Gilmore Girls”-themed cocktails, and how many can we try at once?

If you’re feeling the Netflix revival of Gilmore Girls and have a hankering for one or two or three uniquely-crafted Gilmore Girls cocktails, we know the perfect place for you – Grand Army. Better known for its oysters and Bloody Marys, this pleasing corner bar is located in Brooklyn’s Boerum Hill.

Furthermore, one of its many attractions is a cocktail menu, which rotates with the seasons. And if you are anything like us, you’ll be head over heels for their spring menu. Why? Because the cocktail names come from our favorite mother-daughter pair – Lorelai and Rory Gilmore.

Why did the owner and head bartender, Damon Boelte, choose Gilmore Girls?

“We like to promote the friendly, communicative neighborhood vibes at Grand Army," Boelte told Grub Street. "It’s kind of mind-blowing to see how many cheerful people instantly picked these references up, a true testament to the cult status of Gilmore Girls.

Mind-blowing is right! Here’s a smattering of the 12 delightful drinks on their inventive spring menu:

Arugula, lime and Spanish gin in one elegant glass? We’re sold!

We are swooning over this attractive vegetal number. Floating green dots and invigorating ingredients? No wonder Boelte named it the Hep Alien – a throwback to Lane’s band.

And what about That Damn Donna Reed?

And who could forget those fiery conversations between Rory and Dean about the oppressive duties of 1950s housewives? We simply can’t! Consequently, we adore this fiery little number named after the episode. Its ingredients are gin, hibiscus, ginger, egg white, lemon, pisco, and absinthe. And we’ll be sure to snap a pic of this dazzling cocktail to entice our curious friends.

Sookie’s Mix has our taste buds running wild.

And how could we resist a drink with reposado tequila, rum, house Thai curry, orange, and lime? We can’t get over the flavors, the boldness, or the wildly talented Melissa McCarthy as Sookie St. James.

To catch your favorite characters and relive the Gilmore Girls magic, be sure to check out the revival on Netflix. Or better yet, enjoy it with a spring libation from Grand Army and your best friends.
