This “Gilmore Girls” cast member had some pretty strong opinions about how the show ends and we are listening

Calling all Gilmore Girls fans: We’ve got more news about the revival coming your way!

There is one cast member that had some pretty strong opinions about how Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life should end and we’re definitely intrigued.

In an interview with TVLine, Scott Patterson, who plays Luke Danes in the series and the revival, revealed that while he isn’t the one who says the last four words on Gilmore Girls, he did have a say in what they’d be. Okay, technically he didn’t have a say, but he did try and voice his opinions about the end of the show and to say we’re all ears would be an understatement.

"I actually submitted a list of what I wanted the four words to be to Amy [Sherman-Palladino] and Dan [Palladino]," Patterson told TVLine.

"And when I found out what the four words actually were, I was quite perturbed. They didn't take [my suggestions]. So I made some phone calls and raised the roof a little bit," he joked.

As for what the final four words actually are, Patterson didn’t spoil them, but he did reveal that he was “a little surprised” with how Lorelai (Lauren Graham) and Rory’s (Alexis Bledel) final exchange goes down, which only leaves us with more questions!

He added that it was both "clever" and "made sense," which again isn't totally helpful, but clever is exactly what we expect from the Gilmore girls as they say goodbye forever at the end of the month.

We know that Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life premieres on November 25, but we wish we knew what those last four words were right now. Alright, you caught us, we don’t actually want to know, because then it would spoil the ending, but it’s just so much harder to wait now that we know it all comes down to four little words!

No matter what the last few words are, we know that they’ll be perfect just like the rest of the show.
