Could these “Gilmore Girls” BTS pictures reveal something HUGE about Rory’s career?
Ever since the trailer for Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life debuted, we’ve had SO many questions about what Rory is up to. And now some new behind the scenes images might have revealed exactly what Rory’s career is in the Gilmore Girls revival.
Okay, potential spoilers alert!
As we saw in the trailer, Rory’s life is at a bit of a crossroads when we return to Stars Hallow. It seems that while we know that Rory is a reporter, things might not have exactly worked out the way that she intended.
"I'm feeling very lost these days," Rory says in the trailer. "I have no job, I have no credit, I have no underwear! I could've been a contender."
Basically, this is Rory all over again…
Well, as Bustle are speculating, these latest BTS pics could be a sign as to what Rory is actually really up to.

One of the pictures shows Rory and her friend, Lane Kim, standing in the courtyard of Kim’s Antiques. Rory appears to be holding a huge stack of newspapers, while Lane also has one in her hands, too. Could this mean, then, that Rory has decided to focus her efforts on local news…perhaps a newspaper in Stars Hallow?
However, there’s another reason that Rory could be holding all those newspapers. Perhaps she’s become a newspaper delivery person?
Well, as one of the other images details, there appears to be a shot of Rory standing over a rather official looking desk. The word gazette is clearly seen in the window, while closer examination shows that it’s not *actually* Rory’s name card on the desk.
Okay, so what could this mean!? We know that Rory is freelancing, so could she just be helping out at whatever gazette she’s in? Or perhaps she’s pitching a story? Ugh, we just need to know. Following Rory’s career was always one of our favorite parts of Gilmore Girls, so we can’t wait to see what she’s up to.
Luckily, there’s not too long to wait as Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life is only 16(!) days away. Catch the show when it returns to Netflix on November 25th.
