Gilbert from the DCOM “Under Wraps” looks SO different now

Yesterday was a big day for Disney Channel. To celebrate the fact that they just released their 100th Disney Channel Original Movie (a remake of the 1987 film Adventures in Babysitting), the network had some of their DCOM alum gather together so we could feel all the nostalgia. One of them was, of course, an actor who starred in the very first DCOM Under Wraps.

We’re referring to actor Adam Wylie, who played Gilbert: one of the 12-year-olds who accidentally awakens a 3,000-year-old mummy.

You may also recognize Adam from his stint on Gilmore Girls as Brad Langford, the student who left Chilton because he was terrified of Paris. In addition to this, Adam also had roles on shows like Malcolm in the Middle, Zoey 101, Anger Management, and Castle. Plus, he’s done a ton of voice work for programs such as: The Swan Princess, The Wild Thornberrys, Pepper Ann, As Told by Ginger, and Hey Arnold!.

We also have to mention that Adam is super proud of his time on Under Wraps, as evidenced by the photo below where he reminds us all that he was part of the very first DCOM ever (which is AMAZING).

Final question: Can we get an Under Wraps sequel going?
