Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner were victims of the weirdest photoshop fail

Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner are at it again, posing together for the cover of W magazine, this time however they are missing one crucial thing — knees.

Yes, you read that right, Hadid and Jenner have fallen victims to a major Photoshop fail, but could it have been intentional? The two models grace the cover of W’s Art Issue and the whole look is a little outside the box.

Hadid and Jenner look flawless as usual on the magazine cover, but their knees are nowhere to be found! Seriously, if you look at their knee area it’s like looking at Barbie legs, which is totally creepy. While it definitely seems like a Photoshop edit gone terribly wrong, the other images from the shoot are equally as bizarre, so it could be all part of a giant theme.

"Artists Lizzie Fitch and Ryan Trecartin explore how cameras, social media, and reality TV have changed the way we engage with the world and with one another. In this project for W’s Art Issue, titled 'placebo pets,' supermodels @KendallJenner and @GigiHadid appear as super friendly, domesticated humanoid pets," the caption reads.

They have no knees!

“Fitch and Trecartin see in our relationship to pets a parallel with our relationship to technology, in the way that we’ve been trained to adapt our behavior, our language, and the images we choose to present our changing selves,” it continues.

Hmm, this whole idea is sort of fishy, but artsy nonetheless. If you look closer at some of the other photos you can see the "placebo pets" idea come full circle.

Yes, they are weird photos, but they are also pretty cool.

Now if only we knew if the lack of knees was deliberate or not we could rest easy and just enjoy these one-of-a-kind magazine prints!

What do you think about the Photoshop fail? Was it on purpose or do you think someone messed up?
