Gigi Hadid just wore the 2016 trend that will still be huge in 2017

We’re sending out our love and gratitude to 2016 for offering up one of the easiest, most versatile, and most practical trends in recent memory: bomber jackets. And thanks to new photos of Gigi Hadid, we know this trend will continue into 2017. Score!

Gigi was spotted out in New York this week wearing the slickest lace-up black leather pants from Unravel and camouflage pointy-toe boots, paired with an Army green shirt around her waist and a bomber jacket, also by Unravel, in a color called “sun-faded Army green.” The overall look was military-meets-rocker — and we totally dig it.

Back in August, Google revealed that bombers were the biggest jacket trend for fall 2016, and that definitely proved to be true. Style icon Cara Delevingne was a huge fan of the look and has kept warm in in these chic toppers all year.
