It looks like Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik just made things official with a too-cute Insta

Is it finally true? Rumors have swirled for weeks that model Gigi Hadid and former One Direction member Zayn Malik have found love together, and an Instagram photo posted by Malik seems to confirm a very cozy relationship.

Posted without a caption- the better to keep fans guessing, maybe- the Insta of a polaroid photo shows Malik and Hadid in very close quarters, her fingers brushing his beard as he rests his head against her cheek. The breadcrumb trail to their relationship started in November, when the two were spotted at after parties for the American Music Awards. E! Online followed up these initial reports with a sighting at Los Angeles hotspot The Nice Guy, where an unnamed source claimed the fashionably beautiful pair “couldn’t keep their hands off each other.”  

Both Zane and Gigi are familiar with the ups and downs of Hollywood romance. Zane is recently back on the market after splitting with long-time fiancee Perrie Edwards; prior to their August breakup the pair had been together since 2012. While Gigi’s last relationship with Joe Jonas might have been shorter at less than a year, the exes are said to have parted maturely and on good terms, blaming conflicting busy schedules for their separation.

Predictably, the Internet went  a little nuts after Malik posted the Instragram selfie, which had racked up nearly 600,000 likes and 82,000 comments as of this morning. If the couple is in fact a couple, they sure look like they’re enjoying themselves.
