Gigi Hadid just scored a major new gig and we’re so happy for her

There’s nothing more fun to watch than an award show. Especially, of course, that award show is hosted by one of your favorite people! Gigi Hadid will co-host the American Music Awards! She’ll host alongside former Saturday Night Live funnyman Jay Pharoah, and we’re eager to see these two run the night.

The 21-year-old supermodel announced the news on Instagram with a throwback vid to when she and Kylie Jenner were AMA presenters.

Hadid and Pharoah will join a star-studded show with performers including Lady Gaga, the Weeknd, Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj, the Chainsmokers, John Legend, and Halsey.

Hadid has some experience under her (glamorous) belt after hosting the Much Music Video Awards in Toronto earlier this year.

Plus, the girl knows how to awards show prep.

Hadid promises we’ll see her crack a few jokes, too. Gorgeous and funny? Stahp!

"I'm so excited to host the 2016 AMAs with Jay Pharoah," Hadid said in a statement. "Jay is known for his spot-on impressions so I can't wait to take the stage with him to show my goofy side and celebrate this year's nominees!"

Nominations for the AMAs were announced last month. Drake leads with fourteen nominations, Rihanna has seven, and Adele and Justin Bieber both have five each. Beyoncé and the Chainsmokers also have four nominations.

The American Music Awards will air live on Sunday, November 20 from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
