The internet lost it when a “ghost” appeared in Kylie Jenner’s Snapchat

We can’t deny the thrill of a good ghost story. When we hear a creepy tale, we’re transported back to our childhoods when we’d gather round to share the spookiest of stories (or read them under the covers, flashlight in hand). Yet there’s nothing quite like a true ghost story…or at least the mirage of one. Our latest scare comes from Kylie Jenner, whose fans thought there was a ghost in her Snapchat.

Kylie was showing off her new purse closet (um, goals though??) when someone pointed out a mysterious hatted stranger lingering behind the beauty mogul. false

Besides seeing the huge closet Kylie’s showing off “vibes” in, we also see an unknown presence floating behind her.

The tall, black silhouette has a sharp hat on and no recognizable features. Of course, as soon as the internet noticed this, it went off, whirling in theories and ideas of who this strange apparition could be. Freddy Krueger? A shadow person? A ghost? false

We freaked out for about five minutes before Kylie jumped in to clear up the confusion.

Apparently, the ghost was no ghost at all, but one of Kylie’s friends — Harry Hudson — who wears a hat regularly.

This is good news, because we can all breathe a sigh of relief. Kylie isn’t being haunted by demons and she’s definitely not being haunted by Freddy Krueger. Honestly though, this was a pretty creepy picture, so if we were Kylie, we’d grab some sage and cleanse that closet before any of our purses hit the shelves. (You know, just in case.)
