All the deets on Cece’s flawless makeup on tonight’s episode of ‘New Girl’

Now that New Girl is airing again, I wanted to feature my department’s New Girl makeup artist Michelle deMilt. Michelle is a New Yorker with a whole lotta talent and an East Coast-style that doesn’t mess around!

This season, she is taking care of one our sweet beauties, Hannah Simone, and we all know her best as Cece, Jess’s BFF.

Here’s how Michelle helped Cece get her look!

SKIN PREP:

Moisturize with NARS Skin Luminous Moisture Cream

Then Laura Mercier foundation primer in Radiance

MAC Fast Response Eye Cream

MAKEUP:

We changed up her usual colors from a pinky/gold blush and cool-based pink lips to a more peach and orange tone to give a brighter, fresher look.

SKIN:

Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer in sand.

Clé de Peau Beauté concealer in ocher.

La Mer concealer (sheer) with tinted moisturizer as a highlighter if needed in medium.

YSL Touché Éclat shade #3 under eyes.

EYES:

Stila “In the Light” palette for shimmer on lids, and a soft taupe contour in crease.

MAC Blacktrack Gel Liner.

The lash is curled to open the eye, since she has such long beautiful lashes to work with. We love Serge Lutens black mascara to build her natural lashes: only use on upper lashes to keep eye open and fresh.

Anastasia Brow Wiz pencil in brunette to give a little more definition to the brow.

CHEEKS:

We love Julie Hewett peachie cream blush to give a warm natural flush to the skin, topped with Tarte tipsy on the apple of the cheek to pop the color.

When we want to add an extra glow to her cheeks, we use Dior Shimmer Brick in rose diamond.

Nars Bronzer in heat to slightly contour cheekbone.

LIPS:

NARS Satin Pencil in timanfaya all over lip, with a tiny bit of NARS lip gloss in wonder to give some sheen. (Her lips fade out a bit by the end of the episode after all the craziness has ensued!)
