Get Ready to “Ugly Cry”: Beyoncé’s Mrs. Carter Show World Tour Is Over
Beyoncé has done an incredible 132 shows on her Mrs. Carter Show World Tour since it started less than a year ago on April 13, 2013. Last night, it all came to an end in Lisbon, Portugal, and the Queen herself became very emotional as she thanked fans for their continued support of her career.
It takes a person of incredible stamina – not to mention talent – to perform 132 shows in one year and sell out every single one of them. Beyoncé is an incredible performer, and her hard work has paid off in every arena, especially financial, as she became the wealthiest black musician in history as a result of the Mrs. Carter Show, making over $200 million.
It’s great to see how much she still appreciates her fans – and that she’s not ashamed to give us the “ugly cry” as she expresses her thanks to the Hive who stands behind her.
