Eek! Get a sneak peek at the “Bones” Season 12 premiere before it returns next week
The moment is almost here — we finally have a sneak peek at Bones’ Season 12 ahead of its premiere!
Okay Bones fans, it’s less than a week from the beginning of the end when it comes to all-things Bones and we are freaking out. We know the cast has already finished filming all of Season 12, but we’re not ready to say goodbye.
While we know that the detective, crime series is officially leaving come the end of this upcoming season, it’s too much to handle right now. So instead, we’ve decided to focus on that cliffhanger from Season 11.
On Thursday, E! News released an exclusive sneak peek at the first episode of Season 12 and it sort of answers some of our questions from last season’s terrifying ending. In case you don’t remember, we will fill you in. Spoiler alert, if you aren’t caught up yet, stop reading now.
Season 11 ended with Temperance “Bones” Brennan (Emily Deschanel) having nightmares about an intern’s burning hand and her going to a shrink to deal with it. Just when they thought everything was good, Brennan was abducted by ex-squintern Zack (Eric Millegan)!
We saw her husband, Agent Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz) trying to find her and figuring out that it was in fact Zack who took her before we saw Brennan waking up and Zack talking to her. To say it was an intense finale, would definitely be an understatement.
Now for the teaser, we pick up right after the team at the Jeffersonian learns about Brennan’s abduction and Zack’s involvement. The clip shows Angela (Michaela Conlin) and Cam (Tamara Taylor) trying to figure out when Zack took her and where.
As Angela looks at the security cameras she figures out the time she was taken and that Zack conveniently hacked into the computer system so no one could see his route. Cam asks about when they exited the building, but Angela hasn’t been able to locate any footage of them leaving! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EDh3i7b9Nug
What? They could be inside the Jeffersonian? Ah!
Sadly, this is all the teaser gives us, but it’s enough to have us asking a LOT of questions. Why did Zack take Brennan to begin with? Is he planning to hurt her? Can Booth save her in time? Is anyone else in danger? Will there be any happy endings this season?
Fingers crossed we get our answers when the final season of Bones premieres on January 3rd, 2017, at 9 p.m. on Fox. Don’t forget to tune in!
