George Clooney rescues a crippled dog for his parents, melts our hearts

Kids around the world are going to have a hard time topping what George Clooney did for his parents this past Christmas. Ohio-based animal rescue organization LuvFurMutts just revealed that over the holidays, the actor adopted a very special terrier named Nate as a gift for his parents, Nina and Nick Clooney. And he did it all because of Nate’s truly incredible story.

Nate was born with a number of physical deformities before being rescued along with 21 other dogs from the home of a hoarder. His barrel chest is accompanied by a deformed back right leg that sways when he walks. He’s been through several surgeries and, besides looking a bit different, is just your regular adorable dog.
