Mischief managed! A genius muggle made the love potion from “Harry Potter”

Holy Hogsmeade, guys! Magic exists! A genius muggle recreated the Harry Potter Amortentia love potion and we are freaking out about it. YouTube wizard Rosanna Pansino crafted a real-life version of Amortentia in the spirit of Valentine’s Day. Yes, it’s too bad that we’re seeing this days after the most romantic day of the year. But hey, we have no regrets spending V-day with our bffs, Chinese food, and Pride and Prejudice starring Kiera Knightley!
Pansino created the famous love potion as part of her “Nerdy Nummies” series in which she makes the fictional treats from our favorite books, movies, and television shows real and edible! These bottles of Amortentia may not ~actually~ cause someone to become infatuated with you. But after watching her video, you’re going to want to drink an entire barrel of this stuff!

As Pansino noted, Amortentia is not a love potion, but an infatuation potion. It morphs its smell to attract each person who smells it. Remember when Hermione smelled “freshly mown grass and new parchment and — ”
— RON’S HAIR?
Pansino’s recipe is so easy to make at home and can be altered to suit the tastes of anyone. You could use strawberry ice cream instead of vanilla. Try substituting the lemonade with fruit juice. Or rather than regular club soda, you could substitute in your favorite alcoholic libation for a Harry Potter theme party! The options are endless.
What makes the love potion so recognizable is the orchid pink luster dust that Pansino sprinkled in towards the end. Luckily, luster dust is very affordable and is available on Amazon!

Don’t expect us to wait until next Valentine’s Day to whip up this love potion. All we’re waiting for is our luster dust to arrive in the mail and then badda-bing-badda-boom — everyone loves us.
