Sarah Michelle Gellar just shared an old photo of her and Freddie Prinze Jr. — and they are SO young and in love
Today is Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr.’s 14th wedding anniversary! In Hollywood, that’s basically a lifetime of togetherness – especially since the couple seems just as happy now as they did after meeting on the set of the 1997 film I Know What You Did Last Summer.
Because if anything brings people together, it’s murder plots and bloody horror scenes, right? Seriously, this must be true because five years later, Sarah and Freddie married in 2002. And they still seem to not be able to get enough of each other!
Now – a whopping 14 years later – Gellar is celebrating this momentous occasion by posting a photo of her and her husband on Instagram.
Gellar captioned the adorable photo, “Happy anniversary @realfreddieprinze You stole my heart, so I got my revenge and took your last name!!” (They’re the epitome of #RelationshipGoals.)
In the 14 years they’ve been married, Gellar and Prinze Jr. have managed to accomplish a lot together. Like, the 2002 epic film Scooby-Doo.
Oh, and their two kids — 6-year-old Charlotte and 3-year-old Rocky.
In fact, this week has been even more momentous for the family for reasons other than just their anniversary. Charlotte had her first day of first grade! “And just like that, she is off to #firstgrade #backtoschool #MyCharlotte,” Gellar wrote on Instagram.
Two huge Gellar/Prinze family milestones happened this week, and we love celebrating with them/living vicariously through them. Because they’re the cutest, most loving family ever — and it’s so refreshing to see.
