Gap’s “Bridge the Gap” campaign aims to unite us, despite our differences
There are few things that get us as excited as the idea of having a dance party. Having a dance party with our favorite celebrities? Well, let’s just say that would get us through many gloomy days. Thankfully, we have Gap’s latest video. In “Bridge the Gap,” we see stars like Priyanka Chopra, Wiz Khalifa, Adwoa Aboah, and Christie Brinkley dancing away, in white shirts and blue jeans.
Directed by Vogue UK Editor in Chief Edward Enninful, the campaign aims to celebrate living in your truth. And since the white tee is a classic Gap staple, it also makes sense that, to Enninful, it serves as a blank canvas for starting this conversation.

Celebrating people not only culturally, but universally, is another motif in this video. Although everyone involved in the project is different, the idea of celebration created a sense of unity among those participating in the campaign. And honestly, we get it! Celebrating is a way for us to forge connections with one another, and honestly it’s fun!
This whole “Bridge the Gap” video seems like a dream dance party that we must attend.

According to Gap, the reason behind the video is simple. They said,
"Bridging the Gap, which was directed, cast, and styled by newly appointed Vogue UK editor-in-chief Edward Enninful, celebrates optimistic American style. Enninful selected a diverse cast of people he’s worked with, championed, and admired, all of whom embody American culture today. Gap white tees become each person’s blank canvas, and offer a glimpse into how our differences can unite us. That’s #BridgingTheGap."

We can’t wait to put on our blue jeans and dance to this!
