Ranking the badass lady power moments on last night’s “Game of Thrones” on a scale of 1 to YAS QUEEN

For a Game of Thrones episode titled “Battle of the Bastards” that was essentially about two dudes trying to destroy each other on the battlefield, the ones who came out on top were actually the LADIES. The Ladies — Sansa, Dany, Missandei, Yara, and even lil’ badass Lyanna — completely dominated everything and got shit D-O-N-E.

They’re all beautiful winners and champions in our eyes, but let’s really break down their power moments. From the moments that made us say YAS to the moments that made us scream YAS QUEEN.

5.Missandei’s sassy walk

YAS QUEEL level: ???

Girl doesn’t even flinch when the dragons show up, and doesn’t flinch when Grey Worm beheads two people, and surely doesn’t flinch as she walks by their dead bodies, like the badass she is.

4. The sheer existence of Lyanna Mormont

YAS QUEEN level: ?????

Lyanna doesn’t fight in the battle, but she does show up to the pre-battle smack talk. She doesn’t say anything, but just sits quietly in the back on her white horse. You might say BORING, but we say: SHE CAN DESTROY YOU WITH HER EYES.

3. Sansa secretly getting Jon major backup

YAS QUEEN level: ???????

Sansa knows Jon has set himself up for failure, and there’s not a whole lot she can do (nor, is he willing to actually LISTEN to her). But what’s that? Sansa’s secretly gotten word to the cavalry and they show up at the last second and completely save the day? Damn, girl. Someone put you on the Iron Throne ASAP.

3. The beginning of Yara and Dany’s beautiful friendship

YAS QUEENS LEVEL: ?????????

Do we ship them as a couple? We can, Yara’s cool with it. BUT FIRST, WE SHOULD SHIP THEM AS BEST FRIENDS!! Oh god, they can get bunk beds and have so much more room for activities. Activities, meaning, planning how to take over Westeros, one city at a time with their ships and dragons. Do you think they have friendship bracelets? Dany/Yara 2016.

2. Dany’s wreaking havoc with her dragons

YAS QUEEN level: ??????????

Dany is back in Meereen and does not have time for this. What’s a girl to do? Oh, just climb on the back of Drogon, and FLY AWAY. Shortly after, she’s joined by her other two dragons, too. On her command (!!) they destroy a few ships in the harbor. Just a regular day for Dany.

1. SANSA!!!!

YAS QUEEN LEVEL: ??????????????????????????? x 10

All along, we knew that Jon was going to have to defeat Ramsay, otherwise there’s literally no hope for anyone, anything, everything ever again. As the episode went on, it became clear that while Jon might defeat him, it would have to be Sansa who finishes him off. She does, and doesn’t even have to lift a finger to do so. YAS QUEEN.
