The “Game of Thrones” season finale images are here, and we only want MORE

HBO has just released the last bunch of photos for Game of Thrones this season. After this, we’re going to have to wait until 2017 until we get some brand new images out of Westeros. Are you ready for this? Can your heart handle it? And be warned, as always, there are going to be spoilers ahead.

But we’ve gotta say, we like what we’re seeing out of the season finale, “The Winds of Winter.”

JK. That is not a real Game of Thrones season finale image, but just the Game of Thrones dream that lives deep in our hearts. It feels right for Lyanna to sit on the Iron Throne, yeah? Hopefully this is endgame.

In all seriousness, the real images from the season finale look like they’re going to break our hearts into a million pieces. We have NO IDEA what to expect from this episode. The only description we have is: “Cersei faces her trial.” OK, BUT MORE STUFF OTHER THAN JUST THAT IS GONNA HAPPEN, RIGHT?

From the released images, yes. Grab some tissues — and in honor of Cersei, wine — and brace yourselves.

Last we saw Ser Daavos, he was PRETTY PEEVED at Melisandre. Remember: no one has confirmed to him how Shireen died.

It looks like Bran is still up beyond the Wall, judging by all the snow surrounding him. Might Benjen be the one to take him home?

Though the city is “DOING GREAT!!!” Dany and Tyrion have a moment together in the temple. They’re clearly discussing strategy/plans to take over the world.

As for Jaime, he’s on a mission to go and walk to Walder Frey.He gets some face time with him and from the looks of it, things DO NOT LOOK GOOD.

According to Entertainment Weekly, there were supposed to be an addition three images, but at the last second, HBO decided not to release them. Cersei is noticeable absent from ALL these pictures, and from what we’ve been told, and what we saw in the preview for “The Winds of Winter,” this episode is all about her.
