The “Game of Thrones” Season 7 trailer will be the most intense 120 seconds of your day
Everyone stop what you’re doing — the trailer for Game of Thrones season 7 has arrived. After six seasons inching towards winter, the HBO hit series is now in overdrive, hurtling towards the end.
For months we’ve been teased about the intensity of the upcoming season — from the cast gushing about the craziness, to the series of stills released — but now, we get an official look at what’s to come in Season 7. David Benioff and D.B. Weiss did *not* disappoint. With a shortened seven episode season, it seems that every scene means business.
Prepare for the most intense two-ish minutes of your lives.

With everyone back in Westeros, we’re preparing for an all out war.
The cast wasn’t kidding — it sure looks like our faves will be busy this season. Dany has arrived in Westeros and is quickly devising the best way to take back the throne. Meanwhile, Cersei has positioned herself comfortably on the Iron Throne but is preparing for war on all sides — with only Jamie (and the Lannister troops) at her side.
(Is it just us or does Jamie not look totally on board taking the entirety of Westeros on at once?)
Jon Snow is settling into his role as King in the North while Sansa Stark still has Littlefinger trying to plant (probably bad) ideas in her head. Meanwhile, Arya seems to be *finally* heading North. While we’re trying to be realistic, we’re still keeping our fingers crossed at a Stark sibling reunion. On the list of things to definitely look forward it, it appears that Jon is ready to end Littlefinger.
Many of the characters are settling into new roles and surroundings, it appears some of our favorite (and least favorite) characters remain the same. Littlefinger is *still* a manipulative nuisance and Ser Davos is focusing on the real issue at hand — the white walkers— dropping knowledge left and right.
"If we don't put aside our enmities and bound together, we will die," Davos says, making the most important point of the series. "And then it doesn't matter whose skeleton sits on the Iron Throne."
*drops mic*
While we’re trying not to speculate tooo much about what to expect during the upcoming season (Cleganebowl, the return of Gendry…), we can’t help but watch the trailer a *billion* times. Only 53 days until the Game of Thrones premiere on July 16th!
